An anti-agency talent marketplace connecting performers directly with talent buyers — eliminating middlemen, reducing commissions, and creating a transparent booking ecosystem.
01 — Executive Summary
Music Live Entertainment is a two-sided talent marketplace for the live entertainment industry. It connects talent (musicians, vocalists, performers) directly with talent buyers (venues, event planners, corporate clients) through an open, searchable, profile-driven database. A third user type — the Talent Manager — acts as a concierge layer.
The platform charges a flat 1.5% platform commission on completed bookings, far below the 10–20% typical agency fee. Built on Base44 with React frontend, Stripe for payments, and Stripe Connect Express for talent payouts.

Payment Flow
Two models — direct (client pays talent directly, commission billed separately) and platform-mediated (Stripe payment, 1.5% auto-deducted, remainder to talent via Connect Express). The Commission entity tracks status (pending / overdue / paid) and due dates. A daily automated job checks overdue commissions and places accounts on hold. A weekly payout summary is sent to the admin every Sunday.
